Alternatively, the ski resorts of Les Get and Morzine are about 25 minutes away by car, allowing you access to Avoriaz and the extensive Portes de Soleil ski domain.

Chez Michelle is also perfectly located for a relaxing or adventurous Summer Holiday in the Alps. Samoens is a traditional French village totally unsoiled by tourist developments. It has a magic all of its own, with a beautiful medieval church and square and excellent restaurants.

In the Summer, Samoens and the surrounding area is perfect for relaxing with activities such as hill walking, horse riding, fishing, tennis, ice skating and archery all on your door step, an open air swimming pool for the children and many excellent golf courses nearby.

For the more adventurous, there is no shortage of adrenaline sports including white water rafting, canoeing, paragliding, rock climbing, via ferrata, potholing, canyoning and mountain biking.
